Abstract: |
Mankind has the main influence on landscape changing. Due to the lack of ownership laws in most of the countries in the past, every villager tried to develop their farm-land to have more and more farming place . The most authority villager could be owner of the best farm-land. Death of some landlords and lack or absent of their heirs for any reasons would cause ownership abuse which means others owners took advantage of the missing possession situation to seize their farm-lands and with landscape changing add it to their real state. Since most villagers kept track of farm-lands borders in village, thus this act would lead to some challenges among villagers. Despite these challenges and with regard to lords’ authority, they couldn’t verify their claim. Little by little, in the light of urbanism and related laws creates new opportunities for villagers to earn their mislaid right. Since there are many trees in most farm-land and they act as a live calendar of the earth which record many data in their annual rings. Tree rings dating can help to verify villager’s claims. This paper is the result of the real story in Gatehdeh village in Taleghan region right in middle part of the Alborz mountain of Iran. In this study after checking the landscape with regard to its geomorphology, 10 garden trees including Juglans regia( Pesian walnut), Malus domestica, Populous ssp., Cerasus avium, Armeniaca vulgaris and Salix ssp. were selected to core randomly and tree-ring width series of each one was obtained by LINTAB Machine and TSAP software. According to the dated tree-rings, the age of the trees has been determined and became clear which owner knows the approximate year of establishment of the trees. |
